Role Overview

We are building an elite onsite NOC team to support mission-critical Telecom OSS platforms for a major operator in Saudi Arabia.
We are looking for a team of technically strong OSS Application Support Engineers who want to work close to live telecom networks, take real responsibility for system stability, and act as a trusted extension of the global support organization.

This is not a call-center role.
You will analyze, act, fix, configure, and stabilize systems on site, cooperating directly with remote L2/L3 experts and R&D teams.

Your Job

As part of the onsite Network Operations Center (NOC), you will be the first technical responder for OSS platforms supporting live telecom services.
You will resolve incidents independently at L1/L2 level, perform basic configuration and operational tasks, and ensure continuous service availability in a 24/7 environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

Hands-on Technical Support (L1/L2)

  • Analyze and resolve software and application incidents related to Telecom OSS platforms
  • Perform immediate corrective actions based on established procedures and system knowledge
  • Handle simple and medium-complexity issues locally, escalating only advanced cases to L3 teams

 

NOC Operations & Incident Management

  • Work directly in the Network Operations Center (NOC) environment
  • Monitor systems using automated monitoring tools
  • Manage incidents and service requests in line with SLA and operational procedures
  • Support planned activities (maintenance windows, configuration changes, extensions)

 

OSS Application & Platform Operations

  • Support core OSS domains:
    • Service Desk
    • Fault Management
    • Performance Management
    • Inventory Management
  • Execute basic configuration tasks on Comarch OSS systems
  • Support deployments, patches, hotfixes, and environment validation

 

Collaboration & Knowledge Flow

  • Act as the onsite extension of the Global Support Team
  • Cooperate daily with remote L2/L3 IT Support and R&D teams
  • Clearly communicate issues, findings, and actions to both Client NOC and support team leader
  • Maintain Runbooks, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
  • Support testing and validation of fixes delivered by R&D
  • Ensure operational knowledge is continuously improved and shared

Wymagania

Who We’re Looking For

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, IT, or related field

 

Experience

  • Previous experience in the Telecom industry will be an asset
  • Background in:
    • OSS operations
    • Application support
    • NOC / Service Assurance / IT Operations

 

Technical Skills

  • Linux / Unix (daily operational use)
  • SQL (analysis & troubleshooting)
  • Understanding of OSS processes and system workflows
  • Ability to act independently and technically, not only forward tickets

 

Languages

  • Fluent English – required
  • Arabic – strong advantage

 

Availability

  • Willingness to work onsite in Dammam
  • Comfortable with 24/7 shift rotation
